GROOVED COUPLING AND FITTINGS MATERIALS AND CHARACTERISTICS |
COUPLING HOUSING:
DUCCO standardized flexible stainless steel grooved couplings are
designed for pressure pipeline application. They are suit to be installed
where expansion, contraction and deflection caused by temperature changing,
seismic tremors, or other vibration.
TYPE 304 couplings are produced of standard material to ASTM A351 CF8, TYPE
316 are produced of standard material to ASTM A351 CF8M, Duplex 2205 produced
of standard to ASTM A890 4A, and all by precision wax mould casting.
Slide gasket into the center between grooved, the fit the
clamps and insert the bolts and nuts. When the housing clamps are
tightened and grips the gasket, it makes a perfect strong leak proof
joint.
GASKET:
DUCCO a selections of gaskets for different purposes and fluid, types of temperature,
and pressure applications:

EPDM: For cold and hot water, steam,
chemical and edible services. Not for hydrocarbons or petroleum
services. Temperature range: -30¢J~+110¢J. |

Nitrile: For petroleum, oil, and oxidizing
acid services. Temperature range: -20¢J~+80¢J. |

Neoprene: For dilute acid and grease.
Temperature range: -0¢J~+80¢J. |

Silicone: For dry and hot air, and
some high temperature chemical and edible services.
Temperature range: -30¢J~+80¢J. |
BOLTS AND NUTS:
The oval neck track bolts and nuts with high tensile strength conform
to ASTM A193 TYPE304 or TYPE316 and have a minimum tensile strength
of 75,000PSI(52.75Kg/mm²).
GROOVED STAINLESS STEEL FITTINGS:
DUCCO produce grooved fitting in various styles and sizes, which
are from refined wax mould castings. The materials conforms to ASTM A351 SUS304
SUS316 standard. The working pressure is up to 300psi (2100Kpa). Most standard
sizes and thickness are listed in our catalogue.
